Sparked has already accepted work!

Sparked has just accepted its first piece of writing for publication in January! I don't know if that's enough to make a whole post, but I'm excited. I can't wait to show the world, but I also want to remind everyone to submit to Sparked now! 

What is Sparked?

Sparked is a themed literary magazine which is dedicated to publishing pieces originally written for prompts published here at Notebooking Daily or for one of the quarterly "Three Things" prompts that 3Elements Literary Review publishes, or a monthly Rattle Ekphrastic Challenge or from a current news story for Rattle's Poets Respond or Furious Fiction or Writer's Digest's Poetic Asides blog or r/WritingPrompts or Contemporary Verse2's 2-Day Poetry Contest and many more. Here is a link to our current 'prompting partners' but we're always looking to expand the community!

We have no fee submission options and pay our writers a token amount.

During this December reading window we're also going to be selecting one piece for our "Icebreaker" prize to be published on January 1st and receive an additional payment of $20.
